TESTIMONY:At the dawn of February 26, 2007, mybrother dreamt of 2 dreams. First, hedreamt that Jesus was showing how evilDOTA was, then he woke up and blurtedout: "Ayoko na mag-DOTA!" He fellasleepagain and had his second dream.
He wastalking with a friend who in real lifedoesnt want to play DOTA anymore.
Whenmy brother blurted out once again,"Ayoko na mag-DOTA!", a man came neartohim and laid hands on him, cursing mybrother.
When they rebuked it in Jesus'name, it disappeared. Then, when heshouted, "Hindi na ako mag-do-DOTAkahitkailan!", Crystal Maiden (one of thoseunpleasing characters in DOTA) appearedto my brother.

First of all,

am not addicted to DoTA nor do have anything against Christianity (I am a Roman Catholic).I have always been an advocate of balance between games and faith and I believe that the "proofs" or quotes here are common references to earlier forms of literature or movies.

I think DoTA has been victim of a misinterpretation of overzealous gamers. Basically, from what I see here, the proofs of DoTA being evil fall into four categories:
1. A misuse of a "sacred" word (ancient and god(-like))
2. An expression of fiero or accomplishment that is offensive.
3. Movie References (Greed is Good from the film Wall Street and I See Dead People from The Sixth Sense)
4. The presence of duality in mechanics.

If we consider all of these signs of Satanism or blasphemy, then we should consider the following to be the "from the Devil's hands":
1. Final Fantasy to begin with, along with thousands of pieces of literature and other means of cultural expression
2. Trash talking (which may be true, but then we would lose a bunch of movies and books too)
3. Songs, movies, literature and art with Movie References, and
4. Most games (eventually, this leaves us out with The Sims and Barbie Super Model)The thing is,
I believe that no game is evil unless it constitutes a violation of (Christian) morality. And when does something entertaining like watching a movie, eating food or gaming become "evil"?
And does a conscious or subconscious enjoyment of the game (or any other form of entertainment for that matter) constitute a form of devil worship? Only when it is abused and misused. I cannot speak however for the dreams or "exorcism" that was part of this spreading email. Could be true, could be not. Religious tolerance all the way!

Yesterday might have been one of my happiest days in my life.
